Biden Moves to Ban Russia’s Oil

Casualty figures has consistently gone high in Ukraine as Russia continues to attack cities across the country.

Ukraine’s president however said that he is determined to stay back in Kyiv and ready to fight to the finish.

 

It comes after the U.N. called for safe passages to be established in Ukraine so civilians can leave, following failed evacuations due to Russia’s alleged violation of multiple cease-fire agreements.

U.S. President Joe Biden said the US plans to ban imports of Russian oil as yet another step further in the package of sanctions the international community is hauling at Russia over Putin’s aggression.

The Kremlin through the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Alexander Novak however warned that this new package of sanctions could see gas prices going up as high as $300 a barrel.
